Wide footed Cup/Bowl
£52.00
A small drinking bowl made from a high fired stoneware clay. This particular clay is my own experimental clay body. It's made from two different types of ball clay, one from Dorset, UK and one from Devon, UK plus 20% of an iron rich river sand from about 30 mins from my studio. The river sand gives the clay a great texture and a pleasing speckle under the glaze and slip layers.
The bowl is dipped in a white crackled bisque slip and glazed with a hardwood ash glaze.
Gas/wood fired to around 1300°C in a reduction atmosphere.
6.5cm tall x 12. 5cm diameter at the rim
£52.00 plus a contribution towards P&P(UK)
